Today is a typical 'end of winter' day with steady rain on and off all day.
When people visit New Zealand they are often amazed at the greeness of the countryside. Live here for a year or so and you will soon see why - grass and trees need watering and our rainfall is usually a generous one!
Here in the Bay of Plenty a 'drought' is when is hasn't rained for about three weeks and we are all talking about how dry it is etc etc.
We are lucky compared to many other countries.

You certainly are lucky :) What beautiful landscape you have in NZ! In Canada, we also have a lot of beautiful places. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence ;)
