An old Santa




















This is a photo of me with Santa, probably taken around 1949 or 1950.

The hand smocked dress and fuzzy hand knitted bolero, were made by my Mother who was a dressmaker by trade.

He's rather a stately looking Santa isn't he?

I would love to hear about the Christmas traditions you had as a child... Did your stately Santa have reindeer, or did he walk, as he does in a great many illustrations?
