Christmas Reds








It is the time of the year when we are surrounded by magnificent Christmas reds......

a Santa red,






there are strawberries in abundance,








my little red car,










bougain-
villea red,














and the best red of all................

our own New Zealand Pohutukawa known as the Christmas tree

So it looks all Christmassy even though it's sunny and warm...nice!

My friend from Australia has been sending me xmas pics of them at the beach last weekend. I still can't get my head around it though.

we had another 9 inches of snow on top of 9 inches of snow on top of four inches, can yu add,???do you know what theat looks like when you shovel it into one pile?????

Tismee - yes it is hard to imagine. Somehow it is easier for us to imagine a wintery Christmas. Many of the Christmas cards and Christmas traditions we all still follow here are made for a snowy Christmas!

Putz - Ohhh that must be so cold - and so much snow! Who does all the shovelling of the paths?
