We have another grand child arriving in the New Year! But the down side is that our daughter and her husband live in Bahrain.
These are two cot sized quilts I have just finished for them. They will be suitable for cot quilts or perhaps floor covers, they have tiles through out the house so if they want to put baby down to play they will need to put him/her on something soft.
These are just preprinted panels, borders have been added, backing, and a hi loft batting then quilted. It is good for me to practice my free motion quilting.

Thank you for your comments Fi and Candy. Our daughter and husband are in NZ for a holiday at the moment. She is looking well and all is going well too. The baby is due in January.
They go back to Bahrain (and the very hot weather) at the end of this month.
